Inspiring. Empowering. Engaging. These three characteristics are just a few of which Drew and Lea Lachey demonstrate to all their students every single day at Lachey Arts. They offer a safe environment for students to take risks and grow while learning from some of the best in the industry. Fortunately through scholarships two of my children have had the opportunity to attend Lachey Arts and work with these two amazing educators. Not only have they helped my boys grow in technique and skills but also as human beings. Knowing that my children will use these lessons throughout life is priceless. I can’t thank Drew and Lea enough for being such wonderful mentors as they continue to inspire their students with so much love and dedication.

Lea and Drew have created an environment where students from all walks of life come together to learn from top professionals in the field of theatre arts. Over the two weeks, students are nurtured, praised and pushed to unlock their potential as both emerging theatre artists and humans. Through hard work and long but fun filled days the students increase their knowledge of singing, dancing and acting as well as learnIng the importance of a good work ethic, respect for everyone and being nice. Lachey Arts empowers and propels their students to continue past their high school lives onto college theatre programs and into the professional world- it is an integral part of turning these kid’s dreams into reality.

Lachey Arts is such a sacred place for me because of the amazing training they provide and the unconditional love they show to each of their students. During their years at Lachey Arts, our children not only studied with top notch instructors from the Cincinnati area, but also industry professionals from across the nation, from Broadway, film, and television.

Training under Drew and Lea with Lachey Arts was absolutely vital to getting into my conservatory program and my professional career as a music theatre performer. Lachey Arts was the program that jumpstarted my passion for the performing arts. It truly changed my life forever. When I was twelve, my mother was looking online for musical theater summer intensives and it just so happened that Lachey Arts appeared in her google search. I immediately knew this was where I belonged. I received so much training from both the Lacheys as well as industry leaders that were apart of their faculty in the theater, voice, dance and casting. The full artist training that they provide to teens was so important to me and my future goals that it inspired me to return to the Lachey Arts Camp for six consecutive years. The insight and understanding of what today’s performing artists need to posses is what the Lacheys offered in training that I could not find in Toledo. I knew then, as I know now, that I was getting the best training any high school student could have ever hoped for. Without Drew and Lea’s training, encouragement and guidance, I would not be the artist I am today and I am so grateful to be studying Voice at The Juilliard School and doing what I love to do. Lachey Arts has provided me the foundation to achieve my biggest goals; on the stage and off thus far.
